Once Phil Salt was out early, Narine ignited his batting rampage. Sharing an initial 85-run stand with Angkrish Raghuvanshi before speeding up in the final stretch he hit Boult for three boundaries within 16 runs over in the fifth over. Boult found his timing spot-on.
Narine struck three sixes and one boundary during one brilliant 23-run over from Chahal before reaching his half century in the next over. It was an outstanding innings by Narine who then completed it by hitting two more sixes over deep midwicket from Chahal in his sixth over.
